I studied english and sociology at Liverpool University which reflected my interest in communications and understanding people. I started work in IT in the corporate sector before studying communication, marketing and PR at the Institute of marketing and the Institute of Public Relations. I more recently studied Neuro-Linguistic Programming and a qualified NLP Practioner.
I offer one to one coaching on areas including building confidence, establishing rapport, improving communication skills as well as setting and attaining goals in personal life or in business. I am an accredited NLP Practitioner through the Association of Integrative Psychology (AIP) and use NLP in my approach to helping people set their goals and make lasting changes through understanding their behaviour.
I hold a Certificate in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) from the NLP Centre of Excellence. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a collaborative, practical and problem oriented approach to solving negative belief systems, emotional problems or challenges whereby the client and therapist work together towards understanding difficulties in terms of the relationship between thoughts, feelings, body responses and behaviour. The client then uses practical exercises and tools to challenge negative beliefs and use logic to counter these beliefs and practical exercises are used to overcome challenges step by step.
